Ok, ya hace bastante que no escribo nada, y vagando en busca de musica, fotos reveladoras de la vida personal de ciertos artistas decidi hacer de este post lo que sí se hacer bien...o al menos eso creo: criticar! estas son ( en mi parecer) las mejores portadas de las bandas que mas me gustan, y me dispongo a añadirles mi opinión y lo poco que se de ellas.

En mi opinión una portada muy folclórica, llena de color, simbolismos, tipo dia de muertos, orgánica,el fondo negro de verdad realza los colores, es totalmente el estilo de los Fabulosos, una evolución de las formas que habian trabajado en sus otras portadas.

Day and Age tiene esta tecnica de puntillismo que tanto me gusta y que la verdad ya no se ve, ademas de que la imagen es un desierto: totalmente The killers, la paleta de colores me encantó, el arte de los interiores tambien es muuuuy bueno, y quiero destacar el uso de la tecnica del puntillsmo cuando todas las demas bandas se van por fotografías casi de revista de moda. se nota la evolución de su primer disco Hot Fuss a esta, y debo decir que Saw Dust también es muy bueno, excepto por la imagen del CD.

Green peace design awards

Green Peace acaba de anunciar ya los ganadores de su concurso de cartel, este año fueron mas de 1500 participantes de todo el mundo!!al final se seleccionaron 29 finalistas, la tematica de este año fue "Be part of the action" y todos los carteles debian seguir los ideales de Green Peace: No violencia,la independencia y el actuar todos juntos, los ganadores seran anunciados el 31 de Julio, osea ya hoy, por que son las 12:55 de la noche(madrugada siempre me ha sonado como demasiado)y demas va a ser en Sydney osea que ya mero.
Todos los carteles finalistas son realmente increibles, veanlos y diganme que opinan.

Green Peace just anounced the winers of the poster desings for this year, there where over 1500 participating posters and only 29 finalists, this year`s theme was "Be part of the action" and all the posters should had follow Green Peace`s ideals: no violence, independence(from other organizations), and to act together, the winers will be anounced July 31, thah means today, because is 01:01 in the night...and it`s on
Sydney, so...it might be hapening right now!

I just checked on the spring summer Chanel collection ready to wear and i saw he greatest shoes ever, you know i´ve being dreaming about this black and white kind of vintage shoes, but this chanel shoes took that dream and took it to the next level, because this are transparent!! and gorgeous!

The Hive

After a sad sad week with out my compuer i am using my sister`s again to post something, otherwise this blog would be called "The neglected blog", wich i kind of like it, but thats not the point.
Any way, i found in Loose leaf tigers a really great art project called The Hive, wich consist in a photography project, kind of collective, it is directed by Kyle Cassidy who told another 23 artists to take a photo when he sended a text messagge, whenever they where, s some photos are really great, other ones are like...the ones you take at home, ha ha ha, but any way the project is really cool, so take a look t it.

De regreso de Cancun! .:. Back from Can Cun

Estoy de regreso de Cancun, de hecho eso ya fue hace una semana, y estoy algo triste por ello, me encuentro anonadada y sorpendida por haber conocido tan maravilloso lugar en mi país, debo decir que de todos los lugares que he conocido en México y en el extranjero, que puedo decir son varios, este es el mejor: la gente es maravillosa excepto los de afuera del aeropuerto)y ni que decir de los lugares turísticos.
Creo que puedo dar algunos consejos sobre la estancia.

1. Si no te pueden recoger en el aeropuerto y el taxi se te hace muy caro(por que en realidad lo es)viaja en autobus, estos estan en la parte izquierda dentro del eropuerto de Cancun
2. El Mercado 28 es uno de las mejores opciones para comer bien y de manera economica, este se encuentra dentro de Cancun(fuera de la zona hotelera)puedes ir en taxi o bien puedes visitar un restauran con bufet llamado Hong Kong, es de comida china y el preci no es tan elevado(uno en Cancun y otro en Playa del Carmen)
3.Dedica un dia para descansar, ya que si vas a conocer todos los lugares turísticos es necesarion que un dia descanses por lo menos de caminar(actividad que aunque uno no quiera, va a hacer!)
4. Si vas a hacer compras de artesanias te recomiendo comprar afuera de Chichen Itza y también para este lugar contrata un guía autorizado, son muy buenos en su trabajo.
5. Si eres Mexicano y eres estudiante lleva tu credencial, todos los parques ofrecen descuentos, igualmente si eres de la tercera edad lleva tu credencial del INSEN, y el parque Chichen Itza tiene los domingos entrada gratuita para todos los mexicanos
Espero todos puedan visitar este maravilloso lugar, y recuerden no dejar basura!

I just came back from Can Cun about a week ago, and i am very sad because of this, i am stuned about this magnificent place in my own country, i´ve never seen anything like this, and i can say i´ve travelled here in Mexico as well as other countrys, but this place has all you can wish and imagen!I can adventure a my self a little and give some advices for a nice cheap travell to Cancun!
1. If you cant be picked up in the airport and the taxi is very expensive for you(which is really expensive)i recomend you to go to your destiny in bus,and you can ask where the bus can leave you (as closest as your destiny) and then pick up a taxi, it will cost you much less, this service is located in the lef side inside the airport of Can Cun, be very careful with your belongings and the people carring them outside the airport.
2.The Mercado 28 is a market inside CanCun, it is very cheap to eat there, and is very clean, ther is also a chinese bufet inside Cancun and in Playa del Camen called Hong Kong, also very cheap
3. Rent a car!, dont go around in taxi
4. If you like to buy hand made things the stores outside Chichen Itza are very cheap,a also if you like this palma hats you can buy really good hats in the maya village inside Xcaret
5. Almost all the parks offers student discunt, i didnt asked if this includes also foreing students, but if you are, bring your studnet id, it might aply too

Well I hope this little advises helps you and i hope everyone visits Cancun with all the respect it deserves!

La semana pasada mi familia y yo volvimos a ir a Guananjuato y esta vez si pude tomar las fotos de las casas Art Nouveau, una de ellas es usada como oficinas de algun departamento gubernamental y la otro creo que es una casa particular, son realmente bellas y se distinguen de las demas, que aunque tambien son viejas son muy diferentes, aki las fotos:

Las week my family and i went back to Guanajuato where i finally took the chance to take photos from the Art Nouveau houses, one of them is being used as a gubernamental office or something like that, and the other is still a home and it was actually the home of two popular singers ( a lot time ago), this houses are indeed beautiful and i have to say they really stand out form the rest, here the pictures
